A letter from our Founder.
To our Investors, Partners, and Future Collaborators —
My journey to being in front of you began long ago. Here is my story;
When my family migrated to Australia, everything changed. I left behind familiarity, language, and identity. At six, I couldn’t even write my own name. I was thrust into an entirely new world — one where I had to rebuild myself socially, intellectually, and emotionally from the ground up.
It wasn’t until high school at Mazenod College in Melbourne that I began to find my rhythm again. I quickly immersed myself in academic life, as I pushed for excellence through relentless energy and volume.
I spent much of my early teens learning the ropes in my dad’s property and development business, from tagging along to meetings or placing open inspection boards on weekends. I was immersed in the property world — from the odd weekends showing clients around and visiting sites, to late nights hearing my dad negotiate deals, manage tradesmen, and run numbers with precision. Whilst majority of it would have gone over my head, It gave me an early education in risk, timing, and the human side of property — not just the spreadsheets, but the stories behind each decision. This exposure laid the foundation for everything I do now.
Despite my discipline and drive throughout high school, one of my biggest setbacks came at the end of High School. I had set myself a clear academic goal — an ATAR of 94+ — having planned to study law and commerce. I put in the hours. I studied relentlessly. I made sacrifices. But when the results came back, I scored an 89.7 — just short of what I had worked so hard for.
On paper, it wasn’t a bad result. But to me, it felt like failure. I was embarrassed. Ashamed. For someone who prided themselves on effort and intelligence, it felt like the foundation I had spent years building had cracked.
That moment changed everything.
It forced me to re-evaluate what success truly meant. Instead of chasing external validation, I turned inward. I doubled down on mastering myself — mentally, financially, and emotionally. I realised I didn’t need permission from external authorities. I just needed clarity, consistency, and courage to live with holy curiosity - understanding that life is a journey of ever-growing awareness and knowledge. (you will never know everything).
Ironically, that setback became one of the most important catalysts in my journey. It taught me that failure isn’t fatal — it’s a feedback from the universe to nudge you to your purpose . And it set me on the path toward building something far more powerful than the original plan: a life and business aligned to my own inspired vision.
I pursued and completed a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance and Economics) at Monash University, deepening my knowledge of money, markets, and behaviour. At the same time, I immersed myself in the world of investing, financial markets, and private capital — refining my understanding of where opportunity meets risk.
Property became my vehicle. Tangible, transformative, and steeped in legacy — it combined everything I loved: structure, creativity, deal-making, and family.
Through years of hands-on experience — from acquisitions and design to project management and sales — I began to see the gap: great development projects often struggled with access to aligned, intelligent capital. And investors, in turn, lacked access to reliable, fixed-return pathways backed by real assets.
What sets us apart is not just our results, but our principles: we move with discipline, protect downside before chasing upside, and invest only where we’d place our own capital. Alignment isn’t a slogan for us. It’s a structure.
While property is our focus, our purpose is broader. It’s about delivering outcomes that give people freedom — freedom from uncertainty, freedom to build, and freedom to live with intention.
This fund is the culmination of a long family legacy, years of work, thousands of conversations, and an unwavering commitment to understanding how capital, markets, and human nature intersect. But it’s just the beginning.
If you’re an investor looking for real returns, real security, and real alignment — I invite you to build with us.
Sincerely,
Vitaldi R. Cooray
